Located in Southwest Montana, Gardiner is home of the original and only year-round entrance to Yellowstone National Park, with the famous Roosevelt Arch.  Approximately 70 miles south of Park County’s seat, Livingston, Gardiner is also South of the amazing Paradise Valley and is surrounded by the Yellowstone Park, the Absaroka-Beartooth and the Gallatin Wilderness areas and even has the ever-popular Yellowstone River running right through the middle of town.

Since it’s opening in 2005, Gardiner also is home to the Yellowstone National Park Heritage and Research Center which houses the National Park Archives, Yellowstone museum collections and reference libraries.
