Air Time Inflatables is a locally owned company that provides a fun and memorable experience. They bring the fun, you keep the memories! Among the favorite play structure attractions are the 25 foot tall Climbing Wall, the 22 foot long Giant Slide and the Bounce House. Children love to bounce! Air Time Inflatables will be available for enjoyment Wednesday through Friday.

CATERER’S DESSERT DELIGHT

Local caterers will submit a favorite dessert of their choice to be judged by local Law Enforcement and Fire Department officials. Judging will take place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Exhibit Building.

This contest will be judged by the “Cookie Jar Experts” of the Park County 4-H Leaders. The members will use their expertise and excellent taste in judging and selecting winners.
Friday, in the Food Department at 2:00 p.m.

COMMISSIONERS’ PIE TASTING CONTEST

Baked dessert pies will be judged by the County Commissioners on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Exhibit Building.

MOST BEAUTIFUL YARD CONTEST

Park County residents compete to win the coveted title of “Most Beautiful Yard” as deemed by popular vote. Photographs of local lawns will be on display throughout the fair for public voting in the Floriculture Department. The winner will be announced on Saturday 11:00 a.m. in the Exhibit Building.

See local, state, and regional drivers duke it out in the Park County Fairgrounds Arena Sunday, 1:00 p.m.! Various car classes and heats will be featured. $10 general admission. Concessions will be available.

sunflowerTALLEST SUNFLOWER CONTEST

Gargantuan Sunflowers will be judged on their height from highest root to highest point. Rosedale Gardens sponsors this event and gift certificates will be awarded to the three tallest entries. Winners will be announced on Saturday in the Exhibit Building.

CHERRY PIT SPITZ

The Fair’s second CHERRY seed spitting contest. Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Sale Barn. Please pre-register at the Fair Office by 11:00 a.m. on August 6 th, (222-4185). We will have four age groups depending on who signs up, with the top spitter in each group earning a prize. This is for those that are between the ages of 5 and 18.

pig wrestling20th ANNUAL SHIELDS VALLEY FFA PIG WRESTLING CONTEST

The fun and hilarity continue for the 20th year in the Shields Valley FFA’s annual Pig Wrestling contest. Pig Wrestling is a favorite event for spectators and participants alike. The Calcutta is sponsored by the Shields Valley FFA Alumni. Check out the festivities on Saturday
 Arena at 8:00 p.m.

PARK FFA CHAPTER’S KIDS' RELAYS—SUNDOWN SHOWDOWN

Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m., all ages of boys and girls are encouraged to participate in the Kids’ O-MOK-SEE. Excitement will fill the arena as young cowgirls and cowboys participate in sheep riding, dash for cash with a calf, the obstacle race and the famous tire race.

PARK FFA ALUMNI OASIS

Enjoy a burger, beer, or soft drink at the concession stand located in the arena. The “OASIS” Beer Garden is run by Park FFA Alumni and is open at 5:00 p.m. daily. Alcohol is not permitted on the fairgrounds except at the “OASIS” and in the arena. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL. Violators will be prosecuted.

4-H LIVESTOCK SALE BUYERS DINNER & PREVIEW

The 4-H Sale Committee provides a dinner and market animal preview to potential buyers, Friday 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

LIVESTOCK SALE

The 4-H and FFA Market Stock Sale will be held Friday 6:00 p.m. in the Sale Pavilion.
