WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Childern. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition and health behaviors. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program.
Those who qualify for WIC include:
Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, postpartum women, infants-up to age 1, children-up to age 5.
