2006 Park County Growth Policy
The current Park County Growth Policy is the second growth policy created for Park County through extensive public processes. The 2006 Park County Growth Policy (adopted by the Park County Commission on July 26, 2006) was suspended by a citizen referendum petition. The Park County Growth Policy was placed on the November 2008 general election ballot.
The citizens of Park County voted, during the 2008 general election, to keep the current Growth Policy:
- Park County has a vision for managing growth in the county determined through an extensive public visioning process. The county is able to administer zone changes and variances in the “Donut” Zoning Area (4.5 mile zone around the City of Livingston).
