COURT:
Court appearances are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. SHARP.   Check In starts at 8:30 AM
Appearances are for:
*Misdemeanors: Sheriff Department citations, Highway Patrol citations, Fish, Wildlife & Parks citations, GVW citations, and Criminal Complaints

Felonies: Initial appearances on all the above, plus Police citations
Appearances for defendants in the Detention Center may be held at times other than 9AM on days that are not regular appearance days.

CIVIL COMPLAINTS UP TO $7000 are filed in Justice Court. 
Law and Motion will now start at 8:30 AM.  Please see the schedule link at right for the days Law and Motion will be held

Just click on the "LiveHelp" button on the right side of any page on MontanaLawHelp.org to begin. You will be connected with a MontanaLawHelp.org Web site specialist. Type your question into a box and click the Send button. Your question is sent immediately to the Web site specialist, and the Web site specialist quickly sends you the location of the information that answers your question.

Starting in September, LiveHelp will be available Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. When LiveHelp is not available, you can still ask for help. Click the LiveHelp button and send a message with your email address and question. A MontanaLawHelp.org specialist will email you the information in 1-2 business days.
