The Friends of the Yellowstone Gateway Museum are excited to announce their participation in Beer for a Cause, Tuesday, July 11, from 4-8 PM at the Katabatic Brewing Company, 117 W. Park St., in Livingston.

Katabatic Brewing Co. will donate $1 for every pint of beer sold during the evening. New pub glasses, specially designed with the historic Northern Pacific Railway Park Branch line logo and the museum’s name, will be available for sale at the Yellowstone Gateway Museum, 118 W. Chinook, before the event and at Katabatic that evening. (We have a limited supply so stopping by the museum gift shop before the event is encouraged.)

The Friends will provide snacks that evening and also offer a 50/50 raffle. Additional tickets will be pulled from the 50/50 pool for door prizes.

The Friends non-profit organization supports the museum by providing critical funding through membership and other fundraising for a variety of projects. Currently, the museum needs funds for ongoing operations, specifically for the curation of exhibits, educational programming, and collections management.

So enjoy a great beer (or two) in a glass that gives a nod to the fact that Livingston began as a proud railroad town and help your county museum in the process.
